Shad Valley, Day 3   Add Comment Jul 6th, 2005 at 11:32pm
Turns out that I really don't have time to write anything while in the thick of Shad Valley. If you have ever wondered what it is like for staff, imagine minimum 16 hour days at an hourly rate that would make a communist wince. I love it, though, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I'll be back-dating a few posts just so they make sense when in order.

Scott Brison, local MP, Dalhousie alumnus, and federal Minister of Public Works and Government Services, addressed us this evening. He was a little hesitant at first, but he was an excellent speaker and really shone during the Q & A session.

If at times I am vague when discussing the events of a day, or any particular event, it is because many elements of Shad Valley are kept secret from year to year, so that we can manage expectations in future years. So you will not find this to be an encyclopedia of all that is Shad.
